Lala Kent Would Never Cut These 2 Foods: Diet Restrictions Are a “Terrible Thing to Do to Yourself”

The Vanderpump Rules pal knows her limits when it comes to diets.

For Lala Kent, the world is a lonely place when she can't have bread and cheese is off-limits (can't you relate?). The Vanderpump Rules pal has restricted her diet to exclude those items before. But now that she lets herself indulge a little, things are so much better. 

The SURver recently sat down with Cosmopolitan  to chat — among other things — diet and fitness. Recently, Lala put her regular workout routine on pause, and gained a few pounds on purpose. Enter the trolls!

"When people were asking if I was pregnant, it was like, oh my gosh, this is not cool …  And, to be honest, I was so happy with my body when I had packed on a few pounds and wasn’t working out because it’s like, I was enjoying my life. I was eating bread and cheese, and I just felt like a real woman." (A woman who eats real food, no less!) 

She added a mantra we can certainly get behind: "Enjoy your life. If your heart is healthy and your mind is healthy, you’re living the life." But most importantly, she noted, "I can’t do the diet restrictions. I think that’s such a terrible thing to do to yourself."
